Thank You To All Pie Bakers:
I wish to send a BIG thank you to all the wonderful and generous pie bakers who helped make this year's annual pie sale a huge success. Our range of offerings was amazing - we sold chocolate pecan pie, peach pie, blueberry and Shoofly, strawberry rhubarb, seven savory quiches, beautifully decorated pumpkin pies and tarts, and , of course, almost two dozen magnificent apple pies with intricately and whimsically designed crusts. From 53 pies we realized $556 which will be used to support the library we love. I thank you all for proving that "Pie fixes everything: a la mode or all alone, it'll cure what ails you!"

Nancy
Winter, board member and baker extraordinaire, chaired and organized this very
successful sale. 48 pies, baked by volunteer donors, raised $566.

Theme is chocolate
and cherries.
Bags of assorted cookies and fudge.
Truffles, cheesecakes, pies & tortes.
Sale was sweetly successful -- over $400 was raised for the Association. Nancy Winter and George Morants headed up a group of about 30 bakers who volunteered to provide their specialties.
