"The purpose of the Burlington Library Association, Inc. [also known as Friends of the Library] shall be to plan, develop and conduct such programs as will support a free public library and designed to promote the library and premises as a center for civic and cultural activities."  (Read the Bylaws and the Articles of Incorporation.)  How do we put these formal words into action?  Check us out on this website!  The BLA Board differs from the Town Library Board.

DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THE RESOURCE CENTER?

The library has an excellent Resource Center that can prove very helpful to those interested in choosing and applying to colleges and how to seek financial aid.  It also features information on choosing careers and searching for jobs.  Check it out!
