We are looking for documents relating to the history of Burlington and its residents. This could include diaries, photos, manuscripts, letters, and newspaper articles. If you, your friends or relatives are in possession of this type of historical material, please consider donating it to the Burlington Public Library. All materials in the Burlington Room are stored in archival-quality folders in fireproof cabinets or in acid-free storage boxes so your family heirlooms will be preserved safely for future generations.
Monetary donations are always welcome. All funding for archival supplies and purchases of new books for the Burlington Room come from the Burlington Library Association. Click here to visit the Burlington Library Association for more information.
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept donations of non-print materials because we do not have the space to store them. If you have items of this sort that you would like to donate for preservation of Burlington's history, please call the Burlington Historical Society at 860-673-3815.
If you would like to make a donation to the Burlington Room, please call Ann Mazeau at 860-673-3331.
